thank you for your interest in joining yippee, a celeb idol gpsl! we will focus on journals and an app, signal. people may be hesitant on using a different app, but after much consideration, we feel this will be the most comfortable for anyone to make a new account. our main goal is to not only harbor a friendly and fun space, but most importantly, a comfortable and safe one for members. to cover the basics: any form or bullying, harassment or blurring of ic/ooc will not be tolerated. we encourage members to come to the mods if they experience any issues and we will do what we can to resolve it.

secondly, we want a focus around having fun as a group with hyperbeam and movie nights, discussions, fp activity, or just encouraging others to branch out to other members and make everyone feel welcome! we hope you will consider joining.

applying:

have a visible screened/friends only post (with backdated entries)

run the friends button within 3 days of being added

request membership to the subcomm

in your app, use the emoji indicators: 💬 (app) or 📔 (journal) or both to specify your preference of communication!

intro in the subcomm within one week of being added

challenges:
will be accepted and if your character is challenged, you'll be informed and need to comment the dropbox with examples.

requirements:

run the friends button 3 days after being added, then by the 15th and 28th of each month after that

post on the friends page ONCE a month (this can be anything- written entry, a moodboard, lyrics, etc) OR attend at least ONE group activity (i.e activity posts, movie night, game night, etc)- which are to be submitted in the dropbox, specifying which activity you attended

every member is required to host or attend a group activity once every two months. it will be counted as long as it is advertised on the fp in the subcomm! regardless of if you chose to post on the fp, if you didn't partake in a group activity the prior or current month, you will be up for removal!

we believe these are easy ways to encourage activity, while understanding that real life takes priority, so there is still minimal pressure!

earning 100 points will grant a pass, which can be posted in a members journal to bypass an update/activity for that month. it will count as long as it is visible anywhere in the post. the point system will go as follows:

commenting a post on the fp: 5 points

commenting new apps: 5 points

rps post: 5 points

posting an activity on the fp (ama, discussion, plot posts): 10 points

members can submit links in the dropbox which will be counted by the mods and will then be awarded a pass at 100 points!
